Mit der Verschlusszeit hast Du auch recht, wenn die Blüte tatsächlich Stillstand. Denn ich kann mir vorstellen das Sie beim kleinstem Wind schon wackelt und die Schärfe der Blüte ja gerade wichtig ist auch wenn die Schärfe an den Rändern abnimmt. P.S. Hier http://flickr.com/photos/peterfriese/3287044019/ ist übrigens die Originalfassung des Motivs. Die Nachbearbeitung habe ich mit LightZone durchgeführt (ein wenig Crop, sowie Polarizer). Das Motiv an sich ist ja schon wahnsinnig: mitten im kanadischen Winter gibt es da tatsächlich ein paar tote Blüten, die nicht abgefallen sind. Ist schon ne tolle Gegend hier. As usual for that site, it is written in German and discusses the issues of a macro shots. I try to provide some hints about this kinds of pictures. Especially, the usage of too wide-opened aperture leads not only the background to become smooth, but alos parts of the main subject. The composition is a very subjective thing, but I suggest to make the subject bigger. Regarding the iso-speed used, it is always a goal to keep it as low as possible.
